Earthquake jolted elements of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA on Saturday afternoon.

People came out of their homes in panic when a quake measuring five.5 on the Richter scale hit Peshawar, Swat, Malakand Division and Khyber Agency.

Shocks were conjointly felt in elements of Punjab. However, no casualty was reported.

The epicentre of the quake is claimed to be in mountainous regions of Tajikistan.
